And now for something completely different…

Here are a set of videos that capture the beauty (and productivity) of fly fishing Rock Creek in Montana. When God created the heavens and the earth, He surely had Montana in mind.

First, a sweet soundtrack, a little fly-fishing, and a nice gander of Rock Creek valley, extending South of Clinton, MT to Philipsburg, MT.

The next two videos present Rock Creek in late winter, early spring. Rock Creek flows along the bottom of the East slope of the Sapphire mountains and is in somewhat of a rain shadow. Further East, over in the three rivers area and Dillon Montana, they aren’t so lucky

And some late summer, early fall fishing… beautiful!

Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, the reason for this out-of-context post will become manifestly evident.
